Entrance Notes(1) The main entrance to the Douglas Kenny Building is located on the north side of the building up a flight of stairs from West Mall. This entrance is inaccessible due to stairs and has a manual door. The entrance leads to level 2 of the building. (2) Another main entrance is located on the west side of the building on West Mall. This entrance includes a ramp and is level and accessible with a power door. This entrance leads into level one of the building. (3) The third entrance is located on the south side of the building up a flight of stairs from Biological Sciences Road. This entrance is inaccessible due to stairs and has a manual door. The entrance leads into level two of the building. (4) The fourth entrance is located on the south side of the building and is reached by a path from West Mall. This entrance is level and accessible and has a manual door. The entrance leads to the Developmental Labs and level one of the building. Other Accessibility Features

The building is named after Dr. Douglas T. Kenny who was the Head of UBC's Psychology Department before going on to become the Dean of the Faculty of Arts at UBC and then the seventh President of the University. |
