Entrance Notes

(1) The main entrance to the Ritsumeikan Building is located on the north side of the building on Agronomy Boulevard. The entrance is level and accessible and has a power door. The intercom is located at this entrance and can be used to page residents to request entry.

THE WEST PARKADE IS LOCATED AT 2140 LOWER MALL. THE ENTRANCE TO THE PARKADE IS ON THE EAST SIDE OF LOWER MALL ACROSS FROM ST. JOHN'S COLLEGE.

B5 Lot

THE B5 LOT IS LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THUNDERBIRD BOULEVARD ACROSS FROM THE THUNDERBIRD RESIDENCES. ENTRANCES TO THE LOT ARE FROM THE 2500 BLOCK OF EAST MALL AND THE 6200 BLOCK OF THUNDERBIRD BOULEVARD.

Year Erected: 1992

Ritsumeikan-UBC House, which opened in 1992, is an undergraduate residence designed to allow exchange students from Japan's Ritsumeikan University to live with Canadian students and learn English along with Canadian culture. Each of its 50 apartments are shared by two Canadian students and two Japanese students.
