THE NORTH PARKADE IS LOCATED AT 6115 STUDENT UNION BOULEVARD. THE ENTRANCE TO THE PARKADE IS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF STUDENT UNION BOULEVARD ACROSS FROM THE STUDENT UNION BUILDING (SUB) AND THE STUDENT RECREATION CENTRE (SRC).

History / Points of Interest

Year Erected: 1950

The War Memorial Gymnasium was constructed in 1951 after much student initiative. It won a Massey Silver Medal for Architectural Design. The Empire Pool (now part of the Aquatic Centre) was added to the Gymnasium in 1954 for the British Empire Games.
