Entrance Notes

(1) The main entrance to Blocks C, D, and E of the Buchanan Building is on the south side of Block D on Memorial Road. This entrance is level and accessible and has a power door. This entrance leads into the lower floor of Block D, including the Meekison Arts Students Space.

(2) The second entrance is located on the east side of the Buchanan Quadrangle. This entrance is accessible and has a manual door. This accessibility of this entrance is difficult and some users may prefer to use an alternate entrance. This entrance leads into the main floor of Block C near the elevator.

(3) The third entrance is located on the west side of Block D near Crescent Road. This entrance is level and accessible and has a manual door. This entrance leads into the lower floor of Block D.

(4) The fourth entrance is located at the north end of Block E near the intersection of East Mall and Crescent Road. This entrance is level and accessible and has a power door. This entrance leads into the lower floor of Block E.

The best access to Buchanan D is through the main entrance in the courtyard.

None. This building is fully accessible.

Caution Notes

Use caution in the area immediately in front of the main entrance to Buchanan C as there is a small stair leading down to the entrance. Wheelchair users should use this entrance at their own discretion.
