History / Points of Interest

Year Erected: 1964

The Woodward Biomedical Library was built in 1964 with an addition in 1969. Its construction was a gift from Mr. And Mrs. P.A. Woodward in honour of Mr. P.A. Woodward's father, Charles Woodward, who founded the first pharmacy in British Columbia and the chain of Woodward's department stores.
