Unique Location Features / Special Usage- Crane Resource Library History / Points of InterestYear Erected: 1956 Brock Hall Annex was constructed between 1956 and 1957. The mural on its south side was a gift from the graduating class of 1958. Called the Byzantine Mosaic it was created by Lionel Thomas of the Fine Arts Department and depicts all studies and disciplines taught at UBC at the time. The Charles Crane Memorial Library within the building was opened in 1968 and consists of an extensive collection of Braille books donated by the late Mr. Crane. |
